    Hi,
I converted an mpg to mp4 using final cut pro- export- quicktime conversion-mp4. The video however shows up tiny on a black background. Without adding audio to the sequence this does not seem to happen. Any idea of how I can resolve this issue? Thanks for your help

Try converting the mpeg using QuickTime Pro instead. TC

you have to separate the audio and video streams, this is called demuxing… so try google on bbdemux, and it could work for you, or a much better solution ffmpegX…..

and it will work… QT 7 pro doesn’t do it for me… at least on the audio part.
