Converting HVX PAL footage to HVX NTSC footage
What is the cleanest way to convert HVX PAL (25P) footage to HVX NTSC (24P) footage? Client shot in both formats – the majority is in NTSC. Editing in FCP 6.02. Any insight would be great … the best vs. cheapest.
I would rather convert all the PAL footage at once so I don’t have to render in FCP.

Not having done this before take what I say with a grain of salt, but in the TOOLS menu there is an option to CONFORM 25 TO 24. I’d duplicate the media first, then do a test….see what this does.

I use a product called Atlantis by DVFilm: https://www.dvfilm.com/atlantis/
I’m not sure it’s the best solution, but it works pretty well.

I think they best way to convert this footage is using the Nattres Conversion converter, which is 100.00 from http://www.nattress.com. They work in FCP and you would use the G Film converter.
