Converting HDV to standard media
If I film and edit in HDV, how do I convert to a readable media source like a standard dvd player?? If I convert to Mpeg 2 from HDV, will I have quality loss??

You render to MPEG2

Yep. Should still look better than the equivalent from DV, though.
