converting .flv w/MPEG streamclip
Hi!
I’m trying to convert some older .flv files (2007/early 2008) to .mov (to use in FCP) with MPEG streamclip, but it keeps crashing and/or the audio keeps on stuttering. I’ve converted a lot of other .flv files with no problem, so I’m very confused why it’s not working for these buggers.

Flash video is a container, so they’re probably an older codec than the more recent stuff and that’s why you’re having problems. Not that that’s particularly helpful, but if you have the ability to check which codec(s) they’re in you might be able to download a more appropriate version for your computer to work with…
