    Hello,

I’m not a whiz with Illustrator, which explains why I’m writing this, but I am trying to convert
a color eps file to black&white without rasterizing and maintaining all the layers involved
in the logo. What are the steps?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks
    ag

    Select All, Filter/Colors/Convert to Grayscale.

I recently solved this dilemma and posted my solution on my blog. I hope it’s okay to send you there from here. It’s definitely and easy solution, but instructions are lengthy and I’ve included screen captures.

If moderator wishes I post complete instructions here, just let me know.

Hope this helps. It was a slap-in-the-head epiphany for me.
