    HI all,

been trying different things and looking up over the internet with no luck.
I received a .mov HD file with a DNXHD video codec that I make a DVD with Timecode reader burnt on the image.

I thought the best and easiest way would be to use compressor to create the m2v file with the timecode option. Problem is my resulting file is a completely black video with the right duration and the timecode displaying fine on the video. I tried several time, each time taking about 3 / 4 hours…

Anyone experienced that? Do you think it has to do with the Avid codec?

Thanks in advance for your time.

    Best,

    Colin

I know this is late and hopefully you’ve solved the issue by now but Yeah have you downloaded the avid codec pack from their website? It sounds like that’s the problem.
