    i know this can be done, but i can’t figure it out.
    someone posted about the ‘livetrace feature’, but i can’t find it anywhere.

    This is done with llustrator CS2. Place the image into Illustrator. The choose
    Object >> live Trace >>Tracing options

    You will then be able to tweak your setting mostly for color and detail, then finally click the trace button to get yoru result. You can then use an expand command to get at the vector paths if you wish to modify them manually.

    thanks for the reply… so i can’t do this with illustrator CS?
    i used to be able to do it in version 7…. what gives?
