    Hi

I just had a quick question and taking any suggestions.

I was just given a FCP project to export and compress for DVD purposes. However, the project was cut by someone else in h264. I was thinking of converting the footage to Pro Res and replacing the h264 for a better work flow and possibly final image quality for the DVD.

    Thoughts?

    Much Appreciated.

Change the sequence Compressor to ProRes and render. Try that.

    (Sequence Settings: Compressor)

Thanks for your suggestion. I’ll try that.

Do you think that’s better than recompressing the sequence using media manager?

This is quicker and often works. If it doesn’t, decompress with MM
