Hi – been a while since I’ve posted, but this one’s got me sweating!

I’ve just been given some flip camera video 1280×720 progressive HD, 30fps, 44Khz audio, MP4 format. I need to integrate this into our 1920x1080p, 25fps, 48KHz documentary and wondering how best to convert it? It will have to be done using either compressor and/or Cinema Tools (don’t have Nattress) and to Apple Pro Res 422.

A couple of things I’m worried about –

    1. The audio sync – the footage contains I/Vs
    2. Upscaling the frame size – I can change this in compressor or leave as is and let FCP scale it in the timeline – either way, there’ll be a loss in quality.
