What’s the best and least expensive way to convert 29.97 footage to 23.98 footage. I’m editing a showreel and most of the footage is 23.98, but some pieces are 29.97. I tried just dropping the 29.97 footage into the 23.98 FCP 5.1.4 sequence, rendering it, but it studders with glitch frames. Cinema Tools? FCP Plugin? Thanks in advance for any help.

Shake or New version of Compressor 3 (has the shake engine in it, but must be turned on) You get this if you upgrade to FCS2

    Magic Bullet

I think Natress Filters maybe able to do it.

Thanks for help. It looks like I’ll need to purchase something to do this.

You could try running it through compressor for free, but your mileage may vary.

I only have compressor 2.3. Would this work?
