    Hello,

I am currently editing footage from a c300. The files were not backed up properly and I have resorted to a third party converter in order to make them FCP 7 Friendly. The third party converter is (https://www.best-videoconverter.net/)

I always click “Keep Original” before converting, but the files that were shot in 60, are coming out as 30 FPS.

Is there something I am missing or has anyone else run into this problem?

Contact the Best-Video people and ask why their software is changing the frame rate.

You could also download the trial version of Adobe Premiere Pro and transcode your footage in there. Premiere can read the C300 files natively with or without the card structure (though “with” is always to be preferred). Transcode in Premiere or Media Encoder (similar to Compressor and easy to use) to ProRes, import into FCP and you’re ready to rock ‘n roll.
