Convert TP particles color to geometry material color?

How convert this color to geometry color for final render?

May 22, 2015 at 4:06 pmYou can feed color into the PSetData node and you can output the color to a material using the PGetData node, which is located in the TPHelper menu.
Example: 8855_particlecolor2mat.c4d.zip
An easier way to do, however, might be to use a mograph cloner to create the geometry rather than the TP Geometry object. That way you can use whatever effectors you want to control color.

May 22, 2015 at 4:34 pmIt’s not what i need. The color of each particle must be transmitted in the color of material. And each particle can have its own color to render.
rather than one color for all

May 23, 2015 at 3:37 amOkay, well maybe someone who’s better with TP can help you. But for what it’s worth, MoGraph isn’t a plugin any more than TP is. If anything MoGraph is actually more native, since TP was originally a Cebas plugin that was purchased by Maxon.

May 23, 2015 at 11:34 pmThere are some VFX-effects that can only be done by using particles. This is done very simply in any other program (3dsmax, maya, fusion, particular ant etc.) except Cinema 4D.
I just do not believe in it… now 2015!
And I can not do trivial fireworks! -

May 25, 2015 at 3:53 amNot sure why you aren’t getting this. You are still using Thinking Particles to control the simulation. Mograph is simply used to place geometry on the TP particles and control the color. The combination is quite powerful, easy to use, and 100% native to Cinema 4D.

May 25, 2015 at 9:12 amIt is not that simple. Because you can not do the changing color of the particles throughout life. This is one of the most important effects of the particles!
Or do you know a way to do this?

I know you want to use the native application only, but if you do a lot of particle work you might look into purchasing X-Particles. It’s an excellent system that makes this sort of thing very simple and powerful, and even provides basic liquid simulation.

and I only need a simple task.
Cinema 4d like the DLC in the games, the game is not complete without them.
