  Convert to widescreen ghosting

  I have a clip that was filmed in 4:3 and when I slow it down in Vegas 5.0 and render it, it is fine

  When I convert it to Widescreen and slow it down with same parameters and rener it, the slow motion creates a sort of ghosting effect (trailing image)

  Is there any way I can correct this ?

  Please – any help would be appreciated.
