I have a stereo AVI that has only one active channel. Is it possible to copy the data from that channel to the other channel? I am not limited to Premiere. I have the full pro suite.

All I can think to do is import the avi into Audition and do the copy there then export as a wav, import into Premiere as a new audio track, unlink the original audio, delete it, then use the new track as the audio?

Sounds nasty and prone to error. Please tell me in someplace there is the magic twirly that says “copy left channel to right”.

Glad to help. The problem with many application’s help files is that you have to know the correct words just to look up how to make it work. If you don’t know the right words, it is really tough. That is why we help each other out.
