  • Convert Multicam clip to Multiclip to use the Multicam function

Posted by Adam Berch on September 25, 2015 at 5:46 pm

I have synced up 2 cameras and H4N Audio in Pluraleyes 3.5 The sync worked great. I have Multi cam checked when I export the timeline from Pluraleyes. It opens up a new timeline in FCPX with both cameras and the H4N showing (See Picture Below) How can I get the clips in Multi cam format , 1 track, so I can use the Multiclip function.

    Thanks in advance

Should already be a multicam clip in your Event that you could drop into any project timeline…

What you’ve posted is a picture of the clips in the multiclip editor, where you can tweak the sync, do some global colour grading, etc. You get into the editor by opening a multiclip, so go back to that clip, drop it into your timeline, hit cmd-shift-7 to open the angle viewer, and you’re good to go.
