  Convert footage from XA10 to Final Cut 7

  I just copied the media from my XA10 to my computer, but I am not able to open it on FCP 7. I tried to import the folder, but didn’t work. I have been reading online about converters, but I am not sure which one is reliable to download. I would appreciate any advice in how to change to footage from MTS format to MOV to edit on FCP. Thanks.
