convert dvd menus to video
Hello,
To show it in an online portfolio, I’d like to convert my dvd menus into small videos to show the interface…
I’ve got animated backgrounds, soundrack looping and layers in the top..Any clues to do it the “clean” way (the dirty way I thought was using a screen capture software :-/)

I would recommend screen capture software if you want to show you doing the navigating.
Long time ago I wanted to do the same thing so I hooked up a dvd player to the breakout box of our Matrox editing card, and just captured myself going through the menus using component video.
If you want the viewer to be in control of navigating the menu, I would export the menu as flash (assuming you still have the project file)
