  • Convert clips for multicamera editing

If I have two clips with different size (ex. one is 720×560 and another 1280×720) multicamera editing is impossible.
Final Cut does not convert the clips.
Is there some way to convert them into the same size?

It’s not only size…they have to be the same size, frame rate, and codec.

What format are the clips now? Where do they come from?

You can use Compressor to do the conversion.

The clips comes from two different cameras. Now they are 760×520 and 1280×720.

Leaving out vital information… what cameras? What format were they shot…P2, DV, XDCAM, HDV? What frame rate? How did you ingest them into the system?
