    Hi Guys,

I shot a music video in 720p 24p with an HVX200 and I need to convert the file into 25p Pal. Now I usually work with Sony Vegas, but Conversion in Sony Vegas looks shitty. Since I dont have FCP, I wanted to check out After Effects.

Does anybody know a smooth way to do this, without losing sync between music and video?

    Thank You !

this will effect the audio pitch just a bit, but should maintain sync… bring the 24p clip into a pal comp then choose layer>time>time stretch and enter a value of 104.27094…

if you can lay the audio in vegas, i try to replace the audio in vegas…

    Thank you guys,

@Dave: I did the fair and easy way in Sony Vegas. I edited the 24p video and rendered as 25p AVI File and it looked terrible! The motions look so weird.
Is After Effect any better in that? Maybe FCP (Compressor) is best for that? I really dont know which programm or plugin to use for this to get best results, so i just posted this in AE forum.

The expensive way that you said: Is it 2000$ per hour of footage or working time? 2000$ per hour of video would be in my case abt 100 bucks, cuz its a 3 min music video. But I guess you mean 2000$ hour working time to pay the studio that does it ?
