    Hello folks!

I am having abit of trouble converting 25fps to 12fps. I have tried quite a few techniques, but none of them seem to work properly. I want the 12fps footage to go into a 25fps composition.
i dont know why but the only way i have been able to do it so far is to render the footage out of a 12fps comp, then reimport it into AE at 25fps and drop it into the 25fps comp and then time stretch the layer to 200% without any frame or pixel blending.
Is there a better way to do it? all the other ways I have tried have not given me the same effect as my long winded method. I am after a very jittery motion…all the other way seems to smooth.

    Thanks

    Ross

Have you tried Effects > Time >Posterize Time?

    Hi guys,

Thanks for your replies…I have no idea why, but I just cant get the same look as exporting it out at 12fps and then reimporting it…maybe it is all in my mind though. its so frustrating. thank you for the posterize time suggestions, i think it is the one i am gonna run with 🙂

    thanks again
