    Convert 17fps to 24 fps using Twixtor

    I was just wondering whether it is possible to convert 17fps to 24 fps using twixtor?
    I know it is possible to change from a high fps to a lower fps, but wasn’t sure if it is possible (without a noticeable side effect) of doing it the other way round

    I ask as I am about to shoot using a Canon 500D (T1i) and it only shoots 1080p at 17fps

    Is it possible? Yes.

    Will you be satisfied with the results? Not likely. You are looking for a 40% increase in frame rate — that’s quite a lot. You might consider doing a few tests before committing to this workflow.
