    Hi Gabrielle,
    You need a plugin called “Flip4Mac” (29 US$) to be able to open the WM files on QT and transcode them.

    Yesterday I had the lovely Flip4Mac watermark (should be called “PutOut4Windows”) appear via conversion to Qtime with QTime and MPGStreamclip. Not having the $29 handy for converting a few seconds of footage, I ended up putting the WMV file directly into my FCP timeline and it rendered just fine, no watermark….
