Control U
Having a brain fart. I know I can separate audio from video using Control U but for the life of me I can’t remember how to stitch them back together after editing the audio. It’s gotta be incident to age.

The Ctrl key isn’t needed to group or ungroup.
Press u to ungroup, select both events (audio & video) and press g to group. -
