Control surface for 3-way color corrector
Posted by Ian Liuzzi-fedun on September 5, 2011 at 3:32 amI am looking for a control surface that will work with the 3-way color corrector in FCP. I know Color is king (even though it is dead) but FCP is where I am at now. Any ideas?

September 5, 2011 at 6:41 amBefore Color, many people use Wacom tablets & pens. I am pretty sure Tangent controllers only work with Color and i don’t know of any controller that works with FCP plugins. I use the Tangent Wave with Color and it is really nice to work with.
If you have FCS3 then using Color with the Wave would be your best bet. The Tangent Wave also works with da Vinci Resolve which is where I am going next as Color is EOL. Frankly using 3 way in FCP is slow and not functional like Color so I can say it is worth your while to take the time and effort to learn Color.
