So I have managed to find the expression that ensures the length of the layer drives the out for this template, Dan Ebbert thanks a million. What I would like to do now is drive the layer length for all 4 layers and then shy the layers so that I can roll this template out to my team, but I am finding it really tough to drive the layer length, ha anyone got any ideas on how I can potentially drive the layer length of all 4 layers. I am stumped.

    Thanks for any help

If what you want is to change the layer duration or shy option, you can’t do it by expressions, because that properties are some kind of “static” properties. Some aproach to achieve that by expressions, may be pulling opacity down, at the master layer duration time.
If you want to control shy or duration attributes directly, you must make it by script.
