  • Continuous Raster of vectors in 3d?

    Hi everyone…

I’m trying to continuously rasterize a precomped Illustrator file in 3D space, but as soon I toggle the Continuous Rasterize button it ignores the camera and essentially reverts to 2D.

Both AI & AE are CS3/Mac.

I’ve seen some older posts on this with no concrete answers. Has anyone had any luck yet?

I’d drag it into a comp, scale it up to the size I expect to see in 3D, then resize this comp to fit if necessary. This is where I’d hit the Continuous Rasterization switch for the AI layer.

Then I’d drag that comp into the main 3D comp and work there, without switching on the CR switch there.
