Content Browser Defaults
Somehow, the default preview changed in my Content Browser and the previews for materials are showing up as Double Torus instead of Spheres. I am not able to find a setting anywhere to change it though. I am able to change a single material in the editor by right-clicking and changing the option, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to change it in the Content Browser, so I’m not even sure how it changed in the first place.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Preferences/Material Preview sets the default shape that is used for all materials (that are set to use ‘Default’) and any single material preview can be changed by right-clicking on the preview image and choosing from the menu that pops up.
