  Consumer LCD TV monitoring from Decklink?

  Hi all,

  I’m setting up at home and buying some kit from work..currently using a 20″ Sony BVM b/cast monitor via component o/p from my Decklink card, but I’m wondering what kind of results going component into my Samsung LE23R87BD will give me? I am mainly concerned with field viewing. Is it going to be able to show them properly? I’m not in a position to move my PC setup home to test it, or move the wall mounted LCD to work, so I’m going on fiath at the mo! Anyone got any experience with this kind of setup?

  I do mainly broadcast work at the moment, so really do need critical broadcast monitoringand in an ideal world I will be able to get my BVM to take home, but failing that is consumer LCD a viable option?
