    Pat,

Probably don’t restart often enough. I will start doing this. Thanks for the tip.

I just installed the latest CUDA driver. Where on my MAC do I go to see which version of CUDA driver? I’ve been looking through the System Report info and can’t find anything pertaining to CUDA.

    Thanks,
    James

It’s a system preference on the bottom. A new row is added when you add a non-Apple System Preference. Now in Premiere Pro, you should be able to choose CUDA in addition to OpenCL.

@Dennis…..well I think all is now good. Media Exports that were crashing are now working. I haven’t had a chance to recreate some of the editing scenarios that were causing the crashes. I will post my findings. Thanks again for your guidance.

    James,

Have you found a solution to your problem? I just spent over two hours troubleshooting a similar issue with a project which uses a lot of still photos, both colour and B&W. I think my problem was a B&W photo that wasn’t in RGB Colour mode. Even though the photo has been in a bin since I began working on the project a week ago, it never became a problem until I put it into the timeline. I could play everything else in the timeline but as soon as the playhead was put onto that shot Premiere would crash. Are you using any photos or graphics? If so, check to make sure they’re all RGB and not Greyscale or CMYK.

    HTH. Good luck.

    Gary
