Constant build error causing PPro to crash… Extremely annoying!
I keep getting this error:
[/Volumes/BuildDisk/builds/slightlybuilt/PremierePro/UIFramework/Make/Mac/../../Src/MultiPictureButton.cpp-213]
There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Happens randomly… sometimes even when the system has been idle and hasn’t been touched for a short period of time.
Any idea what’s going on?
System is a one yr old Mac Pro:
– 2 x 2.4 GHz Quad-Core
– 64 GB 1066 MHz DDR3
– Lion 10.7.5
– ATI Radeon HD 5770 -

It’s happened over 30 times in the past few hours. Same error. Seems to happen most frequently when clips with multiple effects are selected or the playhead is dragged over them. THIS IS MADNESS!!!!

Well… to any of you that has an ATI Radeon HD 5770 installed on their system and is operating with PPro: get it out. Immediately. It does not support the Mercury Playback engine. I believe this is the root of all my problems.
