  • Consolidating several audio angles within a multicam sequence

Posted by Brian Thomas on March 24, 2018 at 2:51 pm

Say I have just created a multicam clip with several camcorders and a whole lot of short audio clips. Each (non-overlapping) audio clip has been assigned it’s own ‘angle’ so I’m having to page up and down to adjust volume etc.

How can I get all those small audio track easily onto one angle? I’ve tried pressing shift as I drag them onto the same angle and sometimes this works perfectly but other times they jump around a bit. Perhaps I shouldn’t be using shift? Is there another key/combination I should be using to drag them into their equivalent position on one particular angle? Thanks in advance.

Rather than dragging-and-dropping, you might want to try copy-and-paste. That should let you position the Playhead exactly where you want to “drop” the clip, and paste it right there.
