Consolidate Project to new drive not working right
I wish to copy a project from one drive to another to be able to edit on a second computer.
I select the project and go to consolidate project media.
I select project and used clips as I just want to copy what media that has been used, not everything else.
On the new drive I see that it has created a folder of reference clips, not actual media clips. As well they are of everything, not just the used media clips.Any thoughts?

I think you meant you duplicated a project. That’s what makes a copy to another location. In any case, afterwards, open the new event and select all and choose file>organize event files.That will replace the aliases with copies of the originals.

Yes. Don’t use Consolidate. It does not mean what you think it means and it’s confusing.
What you want is to select the Project, Duplicate it, and choose “Duplicate + Used Clips” and select the destination drive.
Once it is done copying (which should be very quick) use the “Organize” command on the Event.
This will bring a hard copy of the material in to the Event.
