    Connecting the EX-3

    I am having trouble getting my EX-3 connected to my computer for the purposes of testing wirecast 4.0. Well it isn’t connecting via the USB cable…

    Can someone give me a brief rundown of the requirements for connecting in terms of camera settings etc.

    EX-3 manual explain what the ports are for. USB in nearly everything but webcams is data only.
    Firewire for HDV out.
    HD-SDI for HD Uncompressed out.
    Blackmagic makes several HD-SDI cards that are supported by Wirecast.
