    Connecting a Client Monitor using HDMI to HDTV

    Hello,

    I am using Media Composer 3.0 and want to connect my HD Television to my computer using an HDMI cable with a DVI adapter on the second monitor port on my video card.

    Here are the specs for my system:

    Intel C17 920
    Corsair 6gb kit DDR3 TR3X6G1
    Mother board – ASUS P6T DELUXE V2 LGA 1366
    3 1TB Hard Drives
    PNY QUADRO FX 1700 512 MB PCI

    Samsoem sam 22x DVDRW Sata L
    MS OEM VISTA ULTIMATESP1 64b
    Antec P182 atx case

    I was able to connect the monitor to show up as a secondary monitor, but I just want it as a preview screen for avid. How do I make it so it’s a permenant view of what’s on the timeline like an adrenaline or mojo?

    You could go with nitris.
    You’ll need a break out box.
