Excuse the amateur question but what cable/connector do I need for the HVX to view playback on a tv?

Guess while I’m at it.. I am thinking of getting an Apple Cinema Display. what cable will i need to just playback and watch what i shot with the HVX?

    Cheers

Your camera comes with Component cables…you can use those. There are also regular RCA connectors (like you see from VCRs to TV), and also an S-Video connection.

Nope…that you can’t do. THey do not share a common connection type. BUT…if you get a Dell 2408 (better monitor anyway….OH, and the Apple displays have been discontinued) they sport a Component connection.
