Conforming M&E from Broadcast tape to 35mm Film transfer
Does anyone know the trick to change the speed of an audio track from a digital beta tape transfer to match the film transfer? We have a film we just got the 35mm transferred and need to sync up the existing beta tape M&E. Obviously, it drifts out of sync when trying to line it up. I do have the M&E and stereo married with the beta tape file, so the whole thing can be speed changed, but the last time I tried it, It just didn’t work right. I mainly use FCPX, but have Premiere and Resolve.
