    Conform 25 to 24???

    I just shot a short with the Sony HDV Camera in 25frame mode, I planed to convert it to 24 frame.

    I just noticed under Tools in FCP5 there is a Conform 25 to 24.
    For some reson this is not working on an HDV clip anyone know why?

    Any one know how this would work, will it de-interlace the forttage and make it 24p? will it slow down the clip?
    will it make the sound sync?

    As far as I know, 24p HDV is not supported by FCP. 25 and 30 fps only.

    Makes sense! They are going to have to support it soon with all the HDV 24p cameras coming out.
