  Conflict with new Avid Codecs with FCP 5.1.2

  Just fired up FCP 5.1.2 and it crashes immediately if the latest Avid Quicktime Codecs are installed (the latest available ones from August here: https://www.avid.com/onlineSupport/browse.asp?productID=0&topicID=404&browse= )

  Remove the Avid Codecs and FCP fires up just fine…put them back and its crash city….anyone else seeing this? They played nice under 5.1.1.
