Confirmation of Removal of Export to MPEG-2 in FCP 5 and QT 7?
I’ve heard little about this, but can you confirm the loss of “Export to Mpeg-2” in FCP 5.0 with the Studio package?

Yep, confirmed. Use Compressor instead. If you do a reference quicktime movie export from FCP and bring that into Compressor, it will work faster than using the “export to compressor” option.
