Conference call Audio Recording while watching same Video
Anyone have any advice on the best method of recording audio of someone, that’s at a different location, while you both watch the same video? I’m guessing skype is the best option. Checking for a movie commentary. Thanks!

Hello Glenn and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.
I would guess that regardless of the method used, you’ll have some sync differences in the audio that may be distracting unless you’re both listening on headphones – one ear o the program and the other on your conversation.

If you haven’t already done this, there’s a nicel app called Audio Hijack that lets you route a computers various audio input streams to various record/monitor locations.
It would let you route the Skype call to a fresh recording and overlay the program playback into the same file.
