    Vegas Users,

I’m running Vegas6d on my computer as we speak. Also, working on a photo compilation which isn’t complete. I just bought a new version of Vegas7 and before I install it, I want to know if it’s possible to have 2 separate licensed versions of Vegas on the same computer without them interfering with each other. I read in this forum that if you have a project in Vegas6 and bring it in 7, there’s no returning to 6, is that true?
Also, do I need to purchase a new version of Excalibur for Vegas7?

I have a machine with Vegas 4, Vegas 5, Vegas 6, Vegas 7, DVD Architect 2, and DVD Architext 3 all installed. Each major version installs in separate folders so you’ll be able to run both Vegas 6 and Vegas 7 (even at the same time if you wish).

As for Excalibur, version 5.5 is the best version for Vegas 7.

    Should be no problem Ralph.
I’ve got Edward beat with one machine that thas Vegas 3,4,5,6,7 and DVDA 1,2,3,4 🙂

If you open a Vegas 6 project in Vegas 7, then save it, you will not be able to reopen in 6. If you save uder a different name, then you leave the Vegas 6 file unaffected.
