    Hi All-
    Compressor 2
    FCP 5.0.2
    OSX 10.4.2
    Mac G5 tower dual2.0 4Gig ram

    This all worked yesterday!!
Have a 35min unrendered pgm on the timeline to compress to Mpeg 2 DVD via Compressor
    Menu>Export>Compressor
    get this warning:
“There is no media selected” (so nothing shows up in the Compressor Batch windows)
    !!
    Arrrgh!
    Tried:
    -selecting all the clips
    -selecting NONE of the clips
    -rebooting
    -different FCP project
    -FCP Rescue to reset everything
-import via Compressor direct (no access to Timeline clips, just raw files)

Like I said this all worked (on this project) fine last night!
My current pain-in-the-@ss work-around is to render the project out as a QT movie and import that file-
but its adding an extra 2 hours (render) to the process!
    HELP!

    Stu,

    1. You say you tried selecting all the clips, but did you put an inpoint and an outpoint on the timeline?

    2. Whether that works or not, in the future, try exporting a reference file to use in Compressor rather than a self-contained movie, it doesn’t have to render so its not a two hour proceedure, and you can continue using FCP while Compressor is rendering too.
