  Compressor not compressing

  Anyone else see this?

  OS 10.5.4, Compressor 3.03. All seems normal… you import the file, add the settings, submit, but when you look at the batch window, nothing happens except the counter to tell you how long it’s been that nothings happened! It sits there and does not encode/compress. You’ve entered the twilight zone.

  I have recently installed some software which may or may not affect it…
  Paralells, and Avid Media Composer. I have Un-Installed all Avid but it has not changed Compressor.

  I’ve tried deleting the prefs, changing the user, reloading the ProApps update.
  Next in line will be deleting the files that Apple recommends to delete (https://support.apple.com/kb/TS1888?viewlocale=en_US)
  and re-installing.

  Unless there is a shortcut to fix…???
