trying to export sequences out of final cut to compressor. H.264 encode. 8core 16gbram. But compressor gets an error message as its finishing up the file. Sometimes this happens just as im starting the process and sometimes it happens when its finishing. I am submitting only one clip at a time. Couldnt find any history of this error as it seams odd. no file is created from the batch.

Try exporting a self-contained QT from FCP using Current Settings. Drag that file into Compressor and see what happens.

I second the self contained QT ref as stated. This has happened to me a few times.
