  • Compressor Droplets: New Folder as part of Filename Template???

    What I’m trying to do is set my Compressor Droplet as such:

    Destination = Source
    Filename = /New Folder/[Source]

    The goal is to be able to drop the files, and have them re-encode and output as the EXACT filename as the original, but in a New Folder within the Source directory (I’m creating Proxy files which I will eventually replace with Originals for the online edits).

    When I try to run the droplet as stated above, I get the error: The output “MVI_2982” can not be saved in “New Folder” because you do not have appropriate access privileges. To view or change access privileges, select the item in Finder and choose File > Get Info.

    Is this even possible? I’m hoping for a completely automated droplet, where I won’t have to select the Destination each time. Any ideas? Thanks.
