Compressor Crashing Computer!
Suddenly tonight every time i drag a file to a Compressor droplet i first get an alert window saying “This Computer…is unavailble.” Compressor then opens, i submit, it gets half way done, then crashes the computer. Any ideas?

it looks like some of my RAM has died. the computer is only seeing 4 GB of my 8 GB, so i’m heading to the Apple Store…

i took it to the shop, they ran diagnostics, and all was fine. the culprit was a corrupted file from FCP that i was trying to convert in the Compressor. i re-rendered from FCP, then back to Compressor…all is well…
