Compressor changing my frame rate
Hi all, running into a problem. I have finished a video in final cut that has a 23.98 timeline. I send to compressor and export as mpeg2 with 23.98 framrate for burning to a dvd. I import the asset into dvd studio and everytime it shows as 29.97 leaving the image jerky. Am I missing something? I’m running Final Cut Studio 2 on a Mactel quad using prores files.

First, open the file in QuickTime and verify that it sees the file as 23.98. I know I’ve seen the same issue where DVDSP said 29.97 when it as actually 23.98, but the project still seemed to act right when I burned it to DVD.
Check the DVDSP forum and see if they’ve talked about it.
