    Hi everybody.

Brand new here and read recently by Nathan not to worry if FCP looks like its crashing while exporting a sequence to Compressor.

So now gladly I know that my problem is a compressor-only thing.
I am not very familiar with compressor, so maybe its something very simple, but…has anybody had the problem that the batch window (the main window where stuff is being dropped) doesn’t come up when starting the program?
There’s no more such a thing as trashing pref’s , right?

    Any help greatly appreciated!

You can trash Compressor’s prefs and more. Here’s a link that may help.

Much thanks John, that little app with the cute band aid over the icon looked so promising …but didnt fix the problem 🙁
Before I go thru the annoyance of re-install I jusr wanted to confirm: if you launch Compressor and don’t get the batch window (especially after creating a “new Batch”) then something is wrong, right?

Sorry it didn’t work out. I’ve never seen Compressor not open with the batch window. I don’t recall a setting for that in Compressor’s Preferences, but check and see if there’s one that might be off. Otherwise, try a post in the Apple DVD Studio Pro or Compression Techniques forums.
