  compression problems

  I have noticed that when I export a clip from the timeline to say particle illusion it appears to be heavily pixelated and after an effect is applied it is very pixelated….

  The only thing I can think of is that the original footage was compressed by main concept dv codec and when you export you get the choice of dv/dvcpro the microsoft codec…would this make any differences and where the heck are pixels coming from?
