compression and standards conversion
I know this is quite the right forum for Compressor, but I figured the experts here would be more able to answer the question.
I use Compressor to convert 30 minute programmes from NTSC HD to PAL HD.
I set the duration to 100%, but the actual PAL duration is off by 3 frames.
I know it’s not the DF/NDF issue, it’s not a big enough error.
So…please….what gives?? -

Are you spotting that difference on Final Cut?
I won’t trust QT to see that.

No, I am spotting this in Compressor and FCP.

Have you missed using the frame controls tab?
